Caged
O, the birds are crying loud
I too want to get out,
Despair, Boredom all full in this room
Casting an ever present pall of gloom.
The wind and trees playing out
Mocking my conditions the windows shout
Look now, the Rain joins their team
Inside my brain every second I scream.
The birds too flew past
These shallow bonds leave me aghast
Prisoner of Azkaban?
No, this is a physical bondage.
Caged, Caged. But, who did that?
I myself wanted to enter the gate.
People are working so hard for me
But why my sad heart not lights with glee?
The soul inside wants to get free
I am envious of the Green Tree
How wonderful life seems on the other side of Glass
Is it my thinking that's wrong or is it the class?!
