Winter love

The winter's here 
Summer's gone.
The running water
is freezing cold.

The lovely sky
hides up soon,
covers itself
under a pall of gloom.

The stars, silly ones
still gaze below
to trace their
lost sunshine fellow.

The leaves,
gold and gone
Days have past
since the sun last shone.

The birds have left
No melody anymore
The waves have again
isolated the shore.

Feelings bottled.
Love throttled.
Pain deep inside
Dear Tears to hide.

But, Upbeat again
Enjoying the rain
And smiles won
for Life goes ON..
