Meeting Merlyn
About yesterday. (26.12.2020) ..when I met Merlyn. As she shared on her letter that she insisted I don't read then and there, which I just glimpsed over.. she was correct, while we will say a lot of things, but many will be left unsaid. And later discussing about so many things.. and about belongingness, shared fears and more. Even if the time won't be enough sometimes and it will be uncertain all the way, here is something. (And also a thank you for the time, experience and bullet journal that you gifted Merlyn, hope I use it ache se)
It will sometimes be heartening to know that you aren't alone even during a seemingly dark time. You will also be sometimes able to sit in a comfortable silence (..esa kuch hota hai kya!?.. maybe will think more on this), knowing that there is somebody having your back or then pondering over why back, not hand or anything?
To people who make life questions and situations seem little normal or to make it bearable and if nothing works out, being ready to hear out the Plan A (which we haven't planned or know), Plan B ( if life keeps ruining it for you and you desperately try to find out ways of feeling better..) and Plan Zs (the ultimate thing you have idealised and prepare yourself for atleast in thoughts). Probably, you will also be willing to offer the room/house beside you in Plan Z to some of such people, or, just ask or allow them to visit you in your secret location maybe via a system of encryptic coding..
People know the struggles of those who as per society's set bars are failing, but what if I tell you I have known many including myself, who have jumped enough monkey bars not knowing that one day, there is a swim to be undertaken..and which we had never been prepared for. People who keep drowning can sometimes seem like enjoying waves, and for once, you will not want to be saved by anyone. But yourself. Just to find if all those things hold meaning.
And this is also to a heartfelt happiness when you realise that growing up is tough, but some meetings will keep your heart lit.
